On Tuesday, 27th December 2022, nearly 100 young adults attended the Christmas Enlightened Evenings celebration at the Hilton Double Tree Hotel Hyde Park.
The festive evening entailed a rich buffet of canapés and flowing beverage choices, as well as live dance music by acoustic artist, Andreas Liberos.
Throughout the night, numerous free raffles took place and door prizes were awarded. The ticket price for the event was greatly subsidized by two donors: thus, making it very affordable for young people and assuring the event’s many successes.
During the celebration, the young adults holding Patriarchal flags made a video greeting to the Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew wishing “Merry Christmas from London, Your All-Holiness!”, in joyous remembrance of the previous Enlightened Evening this past October, which the Leader of World Orthodoxy attended.
The next Enlightened Evenings Apokriatiko Party will be on Saturday, February 18, 2023, at The Pendrige Suite. This celebration will have a rich buffet of Mediterranean foods, a selection of beverages, and live music.
