The Serbian Orthodox Metropolitanate of Australia and New Zealand celebrates 800 years of the Serbian Orthodox Church Autocephaly and 70 years of the Serbian Orthodox Church’s organised life in Australia and New Zealand.
The celebration, which will be held on 7th September 2019, will begin with the Divine Hierarchical Liturgy at 9.30 am.
On the day, the Serbian Orthodox Church anticipates the presence of Archimandrite Methodius, Abbot of the Hilandar monastery.
A luncheon and rich cultural program will ensue after the Divine Liturgy.
The celebration will be held at the grounds of the future St Sava’s College, at 381 St Andrew’s Rd (via Campbelltown RD) Varroville.
