According to an announcement from the Patriarchate of Bulgaria, His Holiness Patriarch Daniel of Bulgaria and Metropolitan of Sofia will celebrate his name day on Thursday, December 11, when the Orthodox Church commemorates Saint Daniel the Stylite, his heavenly patron.
A festive Divine Liturgy will be celebrated by Patriarch Daniel together with hierarchs of the Holy Synod of the Bulgarian Orthodox Church in the Metropolitan Cathedral of St Nedelya in Sofia.

• 8:30 – Beginning of the Divine Liturgy
