A significant meeting took place at the Holy Synod building of the Bulgarian Orthodox Church, where Bishop Gerasimos of Melnik, Chief Secretary of the Holy Synod, met with representatives from the Bulgarian Ministry of the Interior. The discussion centered on the ongoing efforts to combat organized crime and the successful recovery of over 500 stolen ecclesiastical relics in the city of Gabrovo.
Bishop Gerasimos expressed his gratitude for the diligent work of the authorities and conveyed his hope that the recovered relics will soon be returned to the Church. He emphasized that these sacred items will be preserved with the utmost care and reverence, in accordance with their spiritual significance.
