On Easter Monday, April 21, 2025, the Divine Liturgy of St. John Chrysostom was celebrated in the Monastery Church of Sts. Constantine and Helen, with the chanting of the Canon of the Resurrection of St. John of Damascus and the Divine Liturgy of St. John Chrysostom.
Patriarch Theophilos of Jerusalem presided, and the Holy Archbishops, priests, monks, and many pilgrims participated in the prayer.
At the end of this solemn service, the Patriarchal procession went to the Patriarchal Hall, accompanied by the singing of “Christ is Risen” and “The Day of Resurrection” by Hierodeacon Simeon.
There, the Archbishops and priests exchanged a fraternal embrace, and the pilgrims received the blessing of His Beatitude, who distributed the traditional red Easter eggs.
A festive Easter meal followed for the Fathers of the Brotherhood in the refectory of the Patriarchate.
