Bishop Teodosije of Raska-Prizren presided over the Vigil service and the Holy Hierarchal Liturgy at the Monastery of Sopocani, on the feast day of the Descent of the Holy Spirit unto the Apostles – Pentecost.
Bishop Teodosije, before the feast day, was welcomed by the brotherhood of the Sopocani Monastery, clergy of the Diocesan Deanery of Novi Pazar, and the faithful people that gathered in this monastery to celebrate the church slava. On the day of the feast, the Holy Hierarchal Liturgy was served. The Bishop was concelebrated by the abbot of the Sopocani Monastery Teoktist, abbot Andrej of the Black River Monastery, hieromonk Isidor from the Monastery of Saint John the Theologian near Pirot, and deacon Milutin Popadic.
At the end of the Liturgy, Bishop Teodosije awarded Dusan Milanovic with a letter of gratitude, head of the Real Estate Cadastre Service in Novi Pazar, for constant love for the holy Orthodox faith and for selfless help to the shrines in the Diocese of Raska and Prizren.
After the blessing of the feast cake and wheat, the faithful people went to the liturgy with their Bishop. The host of the church celebration was Zeljko Stojanovic, together with the brotherhood of the monastery.
