This is a Roman and pagan word. Christmas is a reality, not magic. Christ became incarnate. It’s truth. The spirit of Christmas, not the magic of Christmas. The light of the Christmas holidays. The joy of Christmas. Let this greet you when we wish you well.
For all He has given us, we thank God. “We thank Him for giving us the holidays,” he added.
In his sermon, the bishop also spoke of the Sunday Gospel text, “The Parable of the Great Banquet,” and emphasized “the joy of having lunch with God in the Kingdom of Heaven.”
