On Saturday and Sunday, 28 and 29 September 2024, the memory of Saint Kyriakos of Anchorite was celebrated with due splendour at the Archdiocesan Church of Saint Eustathios in Melbourne.
The feast day services held over the two days were presided over by Bishop Kyriakos of Melbourne, who celebrated his patronal feast day, and was joined by many clergymen of the Holy Diocese of Melbourne, and also by Father Konstantinos Apostolellis from the Holy Diocese of Chora.
Many faithful believers flocked to the church in order to wish Bishop Kyriakos well on the occasion of his name day.
For his part, the Bishop, both after Vespers and during the Divine Liturgy, spoke to the congregation about the life and virtues of Saint Kyriakos, while conveying to everyone the love, wishes and blessings of Archbishop Makarios of Australia.
