After a negative test for COVID-19, Bishop Atanasije of Mileshevo was discharged on November 17, 2020, from the Clinical Hospital Center Dr. Dragisa Misovic in Belgrade, where he had been since November 8, 2020.

Bishop Atanasija expressed his gratitude first to God, the True Physician of our souls and bodies, and then to the entire health system of the State of Serbia, health institutions in Prijepolje, Uzice, the aforementioned CBC Dr. Dragisa Misovic, and all others who have been involved in the fight against the evil virus implementing their Christian care, nursing and prayer.

The Bishop prays to God for all those suffering from the new contagious disease, that the Lord may soon raise them from their beds, as well as for all those who care for the affected, that God will give them strength and courage in their sublime work of serving others to the glory of God and to the joy of the entire community they belong to.
