Today, November 20, Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia celebrates his birthday, receiving heartfelt congratulations from Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko.
In his message, President Lukashenko highlighted the Patriarch’s exemplary life of selfless dedication to the ideals of kindness and compassion. He acknowledged the Patriarch’s tireless efforts for the benefit of the Orthodox Church and society, noting how his pastoral work inspires confidence and peace among people.
“Through your pastoral word, which calls for the preservation of Christian values and cultural heritage, our spiritual foundations are enriched. Your contribution to fostering interethnic dialogue and strengthening the friendship between Belarus and Russia is especially valuable,” the President’s message read.
President Lukashenko concluded by wishing Patriarch Kirill spiritual and physical health, peace, and divine support in all his endeavors.
