A tied man cannot run. Neither the mind, working as a slave in a passion, will be able to make a true prayer. Because it is dragged and drawn here and there by malicious thoughts and cannot stand unruffled. You will not be able to pray in a pure manner if you mix with material things and are troubled by incessant care.
Because prayer means being free from any concern.
