On Wednesday, July 30, 2025, Alison Duncan, the Australian Ambassador to Greece, visited the offices of the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of Australia in Perth. She was warmly welcomed by Bishop Elpidios of Perth, who greeted her on behalf of Archbishop Makarios of Australia.
The meeting was also attended by the Greek Consul in Perth, Ms. Eleni Georgopoulou, along with members of the local clergy. Bishop Elpidios hosted an afternoon tea in the Archdiocese’s conference room in honor of Ambassador Duncan.
During the gathering, Bishop Elpidios expressed his deep appreciation, stating, “It is truly an honor and a joy to have you visit our offices today.”
