On Tuesday, September 23, Metropolitan Justin of Nea Krini and Kalamaria and Hieromonk Chrysostomos, the elder of the Holy Cell of Saint Panteleimon at the Skete of the Holy Monastery of Koutloumousiou on Mount Athos, arrived in Sydney. They will attend the 2nd Pan-Australian Clergy Synaxis, which will take place from September 29 to October 1, 2025.
At the airport, they were warmly received by Archbishop Makarios of Australia, who greeted them with heartfelt gratitude and fraternal love. Accompanying him were Bishop Iakovos of Miletoupolis, Bishop Kyriakos of Melbourne, Bishops-Elect Athenagoras of Canberra and Christoforos of Kerasounta, clergy of the Holy Archdiocese, and a delegation of young people from the Lyceum of Greek Women of Sydney.
