Archbishop Elpidophoros of America shared the sad news of the sudden and untimely death of Ricardo Miranda, building superintendent of the Archdiocesan headquarters in New York, NY.
“In this season, we reflect on the meaning of Christ’s Nativity. In the manger we find an image of self-sacrificial service, which flows naturally from humility. Ricardo exemplified this service to our Archdiocese every day for over twenty years,” the Archbishop of America said.
On Thursday, the Archdiocesan staff will gather for memorial prayers in the Chapel of St. Paul. Ricardo is survived by his children, Ricardo Jr. and Laura, his partner, Luz, and his mother. He would have been 56 on Christmas Day. May his memory be eternal.
