The important social and charitable work of the Church was praised by Apostolos Tzitzikostas, Governor of the region of Central Macedonia, who had a meeting this morning with Archbishop Ieronymos of Athens and All Greece.
Mr. Tzitzikostas referred to the close and good cooperation of the Regions with all the Metropolises, and while referring to the important social work of the Church, he thanked the Archbishop, stressing that “the country would not have stood up if the Church had not been supportive.”
The Archbishop thanked the Regional Governor, emphasizing the need for cooperation in all areas, and also referred to the refugee and migration issue.
