On Tuesday, February 23, 2021, Archbishop Nikitas of Thyateira and Great Britain received Bishop Kenneth Nowakowski of the Ukrainian Catholic Eparchy of the Holy Family of London and Bishop Mar Awraham Youkhanis of the Assyrian Church of the East at the Archdiocesan Headquarters.
During the meeting matters of mutual interest and concern were discussed, especially regarding the rights of Christians in Great Britain and abroad. The hierarchs also expressed their desire to strengthen the collaboration and witness of Eastern Churches in the United Kingdom. The meeting concluded in a spirit of fraternal love and fellowship, reaffirming the need for the cultivation of a culture of solidarity and cooperation among Christians, most especially during these truly challenging times.
