On Holy Wednesday, 8 April 2026, Archbishop Nikitas of Thyateira and Great Britain visited the Church of the Nativity of the Mother of God in Camberwell, London, where he presided over the Service of the Washing of the Feet.
Earlier in the evening, the Service of Holy Unction was celebrated, offering the faithful the grace of healing and spiritual strengthening as they prepare to enter more deeply into the saving events of Holy Week.
His Eminence was warmly received by the V. Revd Archimandrite Christodoulos Persopoulos, Priest-in-Charge, together with the faithful of the parish.
The evening concluded with a reception, providing an opportunity for fellowship and reflection among those gathered.
