On Wednesday, 7 January 2026, Archbishop Nikitas of Thyateira and Great Britain presided at Matins and celebrated the Divine Liturgy at the Church of St John the Baptist, Haringey, on the occasion of the Parish Feast and the Synaxis of St John the Baptist. Bishop Iakovos of Claudiopolis concelebrated with Archbishop Nikitas.
Among those concelebrating were Archimandrite Vasileios Emmanouel, visiting from Greece, Archimandrite Nikodemos Anagnostopoulos, Oeconomos Nikolaos Kokkinos, Presbyter Konstantinos Mamouris, and Archdeacon George Tsourous.
During the Divine Liturgy, Archbishop Nikitas ordained four readers: Nathaniel Russell-Jones, Ilias Anagnostopoulos, Aineias Nousi, and Mihail Stancu.
Following the service, a community meal was offered, allowing clergy and faithful alike to gather and mark the feast in a spirit of fellowship and thanksgiving.
