On Monday, 20th October 2025, Archbishop Symeon of Sinai, Faran and Raitho, visited Patriarch Theophilos III of Jerusalem at the Patriarchal Office.
During this cordial meeting, Archbishop Symeon informed Patriarch Theophilos that on the previous night, he had the supreme blessing of celebrating the Divine Liturgy at the Most Holy and Life-Giving Tomb of our Lord, offering prayers of thanksgiving for the Patriarch, the Holy Sepulchre Brotherhood, and all the faithful.
He expressed to Patriarch Theophilos his profound feelings of love, respect, and filial devotion towards the venerable Patriarchate of Jerusalem, reaffirming the unbreakable spiritual communion and canonical unity of the two holy institutions.
In response, the Patriarch congratulated Archbishop Symeon on his assumption of the Archiepiscopal ministry, lavishly offering prayers for a long shepherding in wisdom and peace.
In conclusion, the Patriarch presented to Archbishop the sigillate Patriarchal and Synodical Letter, through which the sacred Agreement, signed by him and the Fathers of the Sacred Monastery of the God-trodden Mount Sinai, is ratified, as a testimony of ecclesiastical harmony and fraternal cooperation in Christ.
