The Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Andreas Katsaniotis, received today, September 20, 2021, in his office, Archbishop Sotirios of Canada in the presence of the Secretary-General for Greeks Abroad and Public Diplomacy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ioannis Chrysoulakis.
During the meeting, which took place in a cordial atmosphere, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs was informed about the important pastoral and social work carried out in the Archdiocese of Canada, while special reference was made to the dynamic presence of the Greek community. Finally, Katsaniotis expressed the support of the Greek government for the continuation of the work of the Archdiocese and its willingness to visit Canada.
