Archbishop of Australia Makarios will be one of the keynote speakers at a scientific conference at the Medical School of Larissa.
The scientific conference is scheduled for next Saturday, September 11, and will have the theme: “200 years: And from now on what?” The conference will be hosted in the Hippocrates Hall of the Medical School, starting at 10.30 a.m. (Greek time).
The conference is part of the events organized by the Metropolis of Larissa and Tyrnavos, in collaboration with the Region of Thessaly, the Municipality of Larissa and the Medical School, to mark the 200th anniversary of the Greek Revolution.
The coordinator of the conference will be Protosyncellus Ignatios Mourtzanos, head of the Office of Cultural Identity of the Metropolis of Larissa and Tyrnavos.
The event will comply with all the measures provided under the applicable health protocol for indoor gatherings.
