Archbishop of Australia: Throughout his life, a person seeks only one thing: Love

In a recorded message shared on Instagram, Archbishop Makarios of Australia talks about humanity’s constant need for love.

In simple and direct terms, the Archbishop reminds us that every expression of pain or complaint is a silent plea for love. He calls on us to respond sensitively to the needs of our neighbours, and refers to the command of our Lord: “As I have loved you, so you must also love one another.’ By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another” (John 13:34-35). (John 13:34–35).
