On Monday, December 22, Archbishop Makarios of Australia received a visit from Ms. Dimitra Skalkos, publisher of the Greek-Australian newspaper “Greek Herald,” at the headquarters of the Holy Archdiocese in Sydney.
The Archbishop warmly welcomed Ms. Skalkou, who briefed him on the newspaper’s progress. During their meeting, they discussed current issues concerning the Greek community in Australia, as well as matters of broader interest.
At the conclusion of the meeting, they exchanged good wishes for the upcoming feast of Christmas and the New Year.
