On Friday, June 5, Archbishop Makarios of Australia, warmly received the Board of Directors of the Parish of Saint Euphemia from Bankstown, Sydney, at the headquarters of the Holy Archdiocese.
During the meeting, the Board provided an update on the life and progress of the parish, and there was a fruitful discussion about matters relating to the development and further educational advancement of its namesake college.
The Archbishop and the Parish Board jointly welcomed the continuation of Ms Penny Pachu’s tenure as Principal of Saint Euphemia College. They also expressed their hope that the educational institution will continue to grow and thrive by offering a high-level education inspired by the values of the Orthodox faith and Greek cultural heritage for the benefit of its students, the Greek diaspora and broader Australian society.
