After having completed their basic education, the students of the 12th year (third Lyceum) are preparing to take part in the final exams HSC (Higher School Certificate), as reported by vema.com.au.
At this crucial stage for their subsequent course, they had the opportunity to receive the wish and blessing of Archbishop Makarios of Australia, who attended their graduation ceremonies and officiated the Doxologies performed in the respective parishes.
More specifically, on Tuesday, November 2 Archbishop Makarios visited the Parish of All Saints in Belmore suburb, the Parish of St. Spyridon in Kingsford on Wednesday, November 3, and the Parish of St. Euphemia in Bankstown on Friday, November 5.
The ceremonies were conducted in accordance with the COVID-19 protective measures, in the presence of students, principals and school staff. The parents had the opportunity to watch live broadcasts from the internet.
The Archbishop congratulated one by one the young men and women who graduated from the three Greek Orthodox schools, gave them his paternal advice and wished them from the bottom of their heart to have a successful career and every blessing in their lives.
He assured them that the Holy Archdiocese of Australia and he personally would always be by their side to support their efforts and to be proud of their progress.
