On June 15th, the day dedicated to the memory of Saint Ieronymos the Polyglot, Archbishop Ieronymos II of Athens and All Greece celebrates his name day.
In honor of this occasion, on the eve of the feast, Saturday, June 14th at 7:00 p.m., the Archbishop will preside over the Great Festive Vespers at the Church of Saint Spyridon in Oinofyta, Boeotia.
Following the Vespers, at 8:30 p.m., he will inaugurate the Folklore and Historical Collection — an exhibition dedicated to the memory, identity, and tradition of the local area. The opening ceremony will take place at the Ecclesiastical Service Center of Oinofyta, where immediately afterward, Archbishop Ieronymos will receive the well-wishes of clergy and faithful gathered.
On the main feast day, Sunday, June 15th, he will officiate the Orthros (Matins) and Divine Liturgy at the Holy Hermitage of the Transfiguration of the Savior – Saint Porphyrios in Malesi, Attica, in the presence of the Archbishop.
