On Monday, October 7, 2024, Archbishop Ieronymos of Athens and All Greece, together with the members of the Standing Holy Synod, performed a sanctification service and offered his blessing for the opening of the new parliamentary session.
The Archbishop extended his heartfelt wishes to all Members of Parliament, praying for their strength, health, and successful work. He emphasized the importance of pursuing a path marked by strength, love, and, most importantly, hope for the future.
Archbishop Ieronymos was accompanied by Synodal Metropolitans Ierotheos of Nafpaktos and Agios Vlasios, Ephraim of Hydra, Spetses, and Aegina, Dorotheos of Syros, Ierotheos of Lemnos and Agios Efstratios, and the Chief Secretary of the Holy Synod, Archimandrite Ioannis Karamouzis.
