Archbishop Ieronymos of Athens and All Greece presided over the Vespers service at the Church of Saints Constantine and Helen in Omonoia, Athens.
The preacher of the Archdiocese, Archimandrite Chrysostomos Koulouriotis, proclaimed the Divine Word, who highlighted that “the Church has been martyred, accused, mocked, insulted and derided. Everything that happens in the world is the work of the devil, the source of viruses, pandemics, temptations and trials.”
Father Chrysostomos also noted that now that the grave danger had passed with the contribution and discipline of the people, the efforts of those in charge and the support of the Archbishop, there are many heroes and dissidents.”
He praised St. Constantine’s insightfulness, an attribute that makes a leader stand out.
After the end of the Vespers, the Archbishop sent his wishes to everybody, especially to all those who celebrate their name day.
