This week, Archbishop Elpidophoros of America was pleased to welcome Stephanie Clark as the new Vice Chair for the Direct Archdiocesan District Council.
Mrs. Clark has demonstrated exemplary leadership and dedication to the community through her extensive service history. She served as the Parish Council President at Holy Resurrection in Brookville from 2020 to 2023. Her journey with the Parish Council began in 2013, and she held the position of Vice President from 2018 to 2020.
Stephanie has been an active member of the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America, contributing to various committees, including the Committee on the Charter and the Centennial Clergy-Laity Congress Committee. Her involvement extends to the Direct Archdiocesan District Council and the Archdiocesan Council. At Holy Resurrection, she has taken on numerous roles, serving for many years on the Greek School Board, including as its President, acting as a youth advisor, teaching Sunday School, and participating in many other committees.
In recognition of her remarkable contributions, Stephanie was awarded the Medal of Saint Paul in May 2022 by Archbishop Elpidophoros of America. Additionally, she was honored as the Greek American of the Year by the County of Nassau in June 2022, receiving a Citation and Award from the Nassau County Executive for her exceptional service to the community.
The Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America is confident that Mrs. Clark will bring her wealth of experience and unwavering commitment to her new role as Vice Chair, and we look forward to the positive impact she will continue to make within our Archdiocesan District.
