Archbishop Elpidophoros of America urged the faithful to pray after Hurricane Dorian slamming into the Bahamas.
At least five people have been killed by the hurricane, the prime minister revealed.
20 people were injured.
Archbishop Elpidophoros said in his personal Twitter account that “Today many are in harm’s way from Hurricane Dorian.’s way from Hurricane Dorian. Let us pray that their lives and their way of life will be spared. May all be sheltered in the shelter of His wings of grace, even as we prepare to offer our tangible help in the aftermath. Most Holy Theotokos, save us!”.
