Archbishop Elpidophoros of America congratulated on social media the newly-elected Patriarch of Serbia, Porfirije, formerly Metropolitan of Zagreb and Ljubljana, on his election that was held on the 18th of February 2021.
“We congratulate His Beatitude Porfirije and wish him Many Years of blessed service to the Noble Serbian People and the Orthodox Church,” he said.
