Archbishop of America in San Diego for the 2024 Clergy-Laity Congress

Yesterday, Saturday, June 29, 2024, Archbishop Elpidophoros of America arrived in San Diego, California for the 2024 Clergy-Laity Congress.

Welcoming Archbishop Elpidophoros was Metropolitan Gerasimos of San Francisco and Bishop Ioannis of Phocaea, Chancellor of the Metropolis of San Francisco, with children of the Metropolis of San Francisco. As we prepare for tomorrow’s opening, exhibitors are moving into the event space.

Today the 2024 Clergy-Laity Congress will begin with the Orthros and Hierarchal Divine Liturgy at St. Spyridon Church in San Diego, CA.
