The new Archbishop, Elpidophoros, arrived a while ago at the Holy Archdiocese of America.
The new Archbishop officiated at the Doxology, which was held in the chapel of Apostle Paul.
Archbishop Elpidophoros thanked the staff of the Holy Archdiocese for the warm welcome and stressed that “today is the first day of, as I hope, a long and fruitful ministry with you.”
“I know the complexity and the difficulties that you, as staff, have faced over the last few years, the financial pressures and the loss of many of your colleagues,” Elpidophoros added at another point.
“What I ask each and all of you is to be patient. Have patience and goodwill for the future,” the Archbishop of America said.
