Archbishop Elpidophoros of America arrived in Detroit, Michigan, on Saturday, August 17, 2024, to preside over the Consecration Services of St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church in Ann Arbor this weekend.
Upon his arrival at Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport, Archbishop Elpidophoros was warmly welcomed by Metropolitan Nicholas of Detroit, Fr. Nicolaos Kotsis, the parish priest of St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church, Andrew Dallas, President of the Parish Council, Craig Theros, Chairman of the Consecration Committee, and members of the local community.
