I am heartbroken by the tragic shooting that occurred today at Richmond Road Baptist Church in Lexington, Kentucky.
A church, meant for prayer, peace, and healing, has once again become the scene of senseless violence, on the most sacred day of the week.
I offer my deepest condolences and fervent prayers for the victims, their loved ones, and the entire community.
May our Lord, the Prince of Peace, comfort the grieving, strengthen the injured, and guide us all towards a world where no church, no house of worship, is ever touched by fear.
