With respect and honor, a formal welcome was held on Monday, September 29, at the Greek–Albanian border crossing of Krystallopigi, Kastoria, for Archbishop Ioannis of Tirana, Durrës, and All Albania.
The Archbishop was received by Metropolitan Kallinikos of Kastoria, who joyfully and with Christian love offered him brief hospitality in the city of Kastoria.
Also present at the welcome were Metropolitan David of Grevena, a member of the Organizing Committee of the 2nd International Scientific Conference of the journal Theologia, and Metropolitan Athanasios of Sisani and Siatista.
Metropolitan Kallinikos of Kastoria accompanied Archbishop Ioannis as far as the region of Argos Orestiko, from where the Archbishop continued his journey to Thessaloniki, accompanied by Metropolitan David of Grevena.
