Since last Tuesday, the doctors in the intensive care unit (ICU) of Athens’ “Evangelismos” hospital have been working with great difficulty, steadily and carefully, to gradually awaken Archbishop Anastasios of Albania, who remains in a particularly critical condition in the ICU.
According to Parapolitika, the process of gradually awakening Archbishop Anastasios has not yet provided much optimism for its successful completion or for his eventual de-intubation. However, the ICU’s dedicated doctors and nurses continue their tireless efforts to stabilize the Archbishop’s health. Unfortunately, his body has not yet shown the desired signs of responding to the medical interventions.
Finally, it is noted that Archbishop Anastasios of Albania is facing severe issues with several of his vital organs.
