A solemn and well-attended event marking the Greek national anniversary of March 25 was held in Tirana, bringing together prominent political, ecclesiastical, and social figures.
Among the distinguished attendees were Bajram Begaj, President of the Republic of Albania, along with Minister of Tourism and Culture B. Gonxhja, and Minister of Public Administration and Anti-Corruption A. Pirdeni.
A particularly notable presence was that of Ioannis of Albania, Archbishop of Albania, whose participation underscored both the importance of the anniversary for Hellenism and the enduring value of peaceful coexistence and cooperation between the Greek and Albanian peoples.
The event was also attended by members of the Greek diaspora, members of parliament, representatives of various religious communities, members of the diplomatic corps, business leaders, media representatives, and a large number of attendees, creating an atmosphere of unity and celebration.
As highlighted during the event, the gathering emphasized the importance of historical memory and shared values, while also serving as an opportunity to strengthen the bonds of friendship between Greece and Albania.
Special thanks were extended to the children’s choir of the Arsakeio School of Tirana for their contribution to the artistic program, as well as to the sponsors “for their valuable support” in the successful organization of the event.
