Yesterday, the patriarchal representative ahead of the enthronement of Metropolitan Jeronymos, Archbishop Makarios of Nairobi arrived in Uganda.
He was welcomed and received at Entebbe International airport in the morning by Archbishops, Jeronymos of Kampala and Innokendios of Burundi & Rwanda; and Bishops, Silvesteros of Jinja and Nektarios of Gulu.
Metropolitan Makarios Tillyrides, who has been serving as the caretaker of the Holy Metropolis of Kampala since the repose of #MetropolitanJonah, will preside over the service of enthronement of Archbishop Jeronymos Muzeeyi who was elected earlier this year by the synod of the Greek Orthodox Patriarchate of Alexandria and All Africa in Alexandria, Egypt.
