Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs for Expatriate Greeks Antonis Diamataris will visit Archbishop Elpidophoros of America on Friday, September 20.
This will be his first meeting with the Archbishop as a member of the Greek government.
Deputy Minister Diamataris began his meetings with ecclesiastical leaders on Tuesday, September 10, with Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew in Constantinople.
The Deputy Minister will attend the sanctification service that Archbishop Elpidophoros will perform on Thursday, September 19, for the start of the new school year at the St. Dimitrios Astoria Day School.
