The Feast of the Holy Spirit was celebrated across Albania with due reverence and liturgical splendor, honoring the third Person of the Holy Trinity.
At the Annunciation Cathedral in Tirana, Bishop Nathaniel of Amantia presided over the Divine Liturgy, with Archbishop Anastasios of Albania prayerfully present in the sanctuary.
In the Church of the Holy Trinity in Seman, Fier, Metropolitan Nicholas of Apollonia and Fier led the service. Following the Divine Liturgy, a festive meal was offered to the bishop, clergy, and faithful—generously sponsored by members of the local Orthodox community.
The historic Church of the Holy Trinity in Berat also celebrated the feast. This cross-in-square basilica with a dome retains several features of Byzantine architecture, although time has left its marks, including the fading of its once-vibrant iconography. Despite the interior deterioration, Metropolitan Astios of Berat celebrated the Divine Liturgy with deep spiritual solemnity.
Throughout Albania, numerous churches dedicated to the Holy Trinity marked the feast, many of them being significant religious monuments. Notable among them are the churches in the region of Gjirokastër, such as in Mikró Lábovo, Delvinë, Pepel, and the Holy Trinity Monastery Church on Zvërnec Island in Vlorë.
These sacred celebrations across the country serve as a testimony to the living faith and enduring heritage of the Orthodox Church in Albania.
