On Friday, 27th March 2026, at 3.30 p.m., the full Canon of the Akathist and the Salutations of the Theotokos were chanted with the Service of the Small Compline in the Patriarchal and monastic Church of Saints Constantine and Helen.
The first part of the Salutations was read by the presiding celebrant of the Service, Patriarch of Jerusalem, Theophilos III. The remaining three were read by the Holy Sepulchre Hierarchs according to their rank and seniority: the second by His Eminence Metropolitan Hesychios of Capitolias, the third by His Eminence Archbishop Theophanes of Gerrash, and the fourth by His Eminence Archbishop Aristarchos of Constantina. The chanting was led by the First Cantor of the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, Deacon Efstathios. The service was attended by the Consul General of Greece in Jerusalem, Mr Dimitrios Angelosopoulos, nuns, and local faithful.
