Extraordinary mobilisation of the Hellenic Fire Service for the fire that has broken out in a forestland in Asopia, in the Municipality of Tanagra, in Boeotia.
It is indicative that, following the suggestion of the head of the Fire Service, two people from the Prophet Elias Tsatsaris Monastery were removed as a precaution.
The first forces that arrived in the region requested aid, therefore 92 firefighters with 29 vehicles operate at the area, and in particular: 40 firefighters with 19 vehicles, 20 firefighters with 10 vehicles from the Specialized Fire Department of Firefighting Operations with fire engines (MEETPE) and 32 people on foot.
Firefighting aircrafts with a total of 8 airplanes and 3 helicopters are flying in the area, as well as a helicopter the passengers of which are coordinating the operation.
