On Thursday morning, Archbishop Makarios of Australia and the administrative staff of the Holy Archdiocese had a brief pause to offer their wishes at the headquarters in Redfern, Sydney.
The Archbishop invited to his office all his associates in the Archdiocese to offer his wish them in view of the Christmas Day and the new year, and especially to thank them for their hard work, love and devotion. “You don’t just do your job but you love what you do,” he said while urging everyone to continue to be united.
He then assured that the door of his office was always open, as well as the door of his heart, as he pointed out, and urged them not no hesitate to express their anxieties, problems or complaints.
Finally, the Archbishop offered everyone a gift, while he wholeheartedly wished them the new year to bring them many joys and blessings, on a personal and family level, and to be better and, above all, more spiritual than the previous year.
