On the Third Sunday of Great Lent, also known as the Sunday of the Veneration of the Cross, Patriarch of Moscow and all Rus’, officiated the Divine Liturgy, in the new established Church of St. Stephen, Bishop of Perm in South Butovo.
Patriarch Kiril officiated, accompanied by Bishop Theophylaktos of Dmitry, Bishop Thomas of Bronitzky, and several clerics from the Patriarchate of Moscow.
During the Divine Liturgy, the inauguration of the church took place.
At the end of the Divine Liturgy, the chief of the church, Archpriest Vladimir, addressed Patriarch Kirill and gave to the Patriarch an icon of St. Stephen of Perm and St. Sergius of Radonezh.
