Another two monasteries of Mount Athos refused to meet with the delegation of the new Ukrainian church which is visiting the region.
According to Interfax-religion information citing sources from the Patriarchate of Moscow, a group of representatives of the Ukrainian Church led by Metropolitan Pavel visited the monasteries Zograf and Dokhiar on Sunday, but the monks did not they let them in.
According to the same sources, the Simonopetra Monastery allowed the delegation of the Ukrainian church to worship the holy relics there and then were asked to leave.
As Interfax reports, the representatives from the 20 Monasteries of Mount Athos is now expected to convene a meeting in order to discuss the “Ukrainian issue”.
